National
Journal Prize of China of China is the highest level of
award for journals in China, which is awarded every two
years. Appraisal of National 100 Key Journals of Social
Sciences is still carried out every two years.
This
award is awarded according to the guiding ideology, journal
qualifications, appraisal procedures and methods provided by
the Notice on the Appraisal of China Journal Award and the 2nd
National 100 Key Journals of Social Sciences, which embodies
the appraisal principle of “revealing the direction,
insisting on the qualification, being fair and square”.
Suggested by the leading group of appraisal and approved by
relevant leading departments, the name “China Journal Award”
is changed into “National Journal Prize of China”, and
“Nomination Award of the National Journal Prize of China” is
added.
To
convenience identification of awarded publications,
encourage leading journals and facilitate social
supervision, uniform logos for journals winning National
Journal Prize of China and Nomination Award of National
Journal Prize of China are made by the
Press and Publication Administration that are uniformly
printed on distinct positions on journal covers from
January, 2001.
