Abstract:
A nonlinear mathematical programming model with multi-object for an
optimal design system of centrifugal compressor was established and
studied. The model has practical constraints of both aerodynamics and
manufactory for effective applications. Its optimized variables are
discrete and continuous. To solve the optimization problem the model was
simplified and two new methods “mixed searching method” and
“cost-benefit conformity method” were presented in the calculation. The
optimal design system with computer program was developed by means of
the simplified model and calculational methods mentioned above. After
practical applications high successful benefit and satisfactory results
have been obtained in Shengyang Blower Works.
