Abstract: Via introducing the concept Fictitious Oscillating Follower for the first time, that is, imagining the roller follower which moves in the form of complicated plane motion as a fictitious oscillating follower, and constructing the corresponding analogous velocity chart, this paper researches and solves the task for designing the smallest size disc cam mechanisms whose roller follower move in the form of complicated plane motion in accordance with the allowable pressure angle.
