Abstract:
The analysis of elastic contact in rolling bearing can be solved by
FEM[5,8,8] , and the computed results are in good agreement with the
experimental ones. The constitutive model of the frictional contact
problem is discussed, then a mathematical programming method for this
problem can be obtained from parametric variational princlple[1,2].
However, considering the friction between housing and outer ring in
order to accord with the practical problem, the contact pressure
distribution of bearing were computed under different frictional
conditions.
