Abstract:
By means of the heating action and cleaning action of ton
bombardment, a workpiece, put on the cathode in glow discharge, can be
brazed without flux and in a comparatively low vacuum, one at the level
of about 1Pa. The Brazing temperature is controlled mainly by the
working voltage and barometric pressure, and various technical measures
are adopted to meet the requirements of oven heating, localized heating,
activatory elements permeating and cleaning action improving. Compared
with common vacuum brazing, the ion bombardment brazing has many
advantages, such as high productivity, low equipment investment,
uncritical requirements for surface and wide accomodation for
application.
