Abstract: An analysis by means of penalty-finite element method joined up with analytical formula for the three-dimensional contact problem on four-row roller bearing is made in this paper. The two results obtained through calculation and experiment wore of good consistence. It verified the feasibility of the method. An analysis on the roller bearing of Koyo universal crossed coupling introduced from Japan with the FORTRAN program above mentioned is made, and the improvement of its structure is suggested.
