Abstract:
The temperature field at different times during laser surface-remelting
process was calculated and the melted-depth, phase transformation depth
wore predicted by adopting reasonable model of changing thermal
properties. Predicted depth was compared with exprimental result, both
of them were found almost the same. The temperature field and its change
were first displayed with color image. Thereby, theory basis is provided
for solidification process research and for the optimizing of
technological parameters.
