Abstract:
This studied the superplasticity in casting large grain aluminum
brass (HAL 66-6-3-2) which don’t any pretreatment. A results showed that
elongation of 120% more than can obtain at deformation temperature of
520℃ to 560℃ at initial strain rate of 2.6×10-4~6.6×10-3s-1. Maximum
elongation of 230% and stain rate sensitivity m- value of 0.32 were
obtained under optimum deformation condition at 575℃ at initial at rain
rate of 2.6×10-3s-1. Metallographic analysis showed that superplastic
deformation occurred mainly in intragranular area. Superplastic
deformation promot to produce subgrain in large grain end dynamic
recrystallization.
