Abstract:
A series of boundary
integration equations for the mold cooling analysis in injection molding
have been presented in this paper. A three dimensional mold-cooling
simulation system for injection molding has been developed based on
boundary element method. Special attention has been given to the
formulation and numerical treatment of the integral equations, solution
of the linear equations and computer storage management in order to
reduce the time consumption. The proposed formulae, two-step iteration
method for the solution of linear equations together with the developed
program package of computer storage management reduce the time
consumption of mold-cooling simulation dramatically.
