Abstract:
This paper presents a
computerized automatic control and data legging system, embedded in a
hydraulic power shift transmission durability test beard, as well as its
operation performance. By inference of the diesel engine’s mathematical
model proposed by J. I. Soliman, the parameters and the expression of
the model are derived, and a practical and quite accurate mathematical
model of hydraulic moment transmission is obtained. The developed
computerized control system, with adaptive model parameter compensation,
is able to adapt to the change of working condition of the test beard
and will regulate the model parameters in real-time, so that the speed
regulating process possess a good static and dynamic accuracy. The
on-site test results demonstrated the success of the computerized
control system.
