Abstract:
In this paper, the theoretical calculating method of high-reliability
life of rolling bearings is derived, assuming that the fatigue life of
bearing steel follows the three-parameter Weibull distribution. A
comparison between experimental and calculated life of three kinds of
tapered roller bearings shows that the experimental life agrees better
with the life calculated by the new method.
