Abstract:
Computer aided design of
foundry technology is the research freaiter for developing foundry
discipline by using high-tech and is also the hottest research topic of
foundry discipline to-data as well. CAD of foundry technology with the
soildifieation process simulation as the core technology has been put
into application in foundry industry, playing an important role to
improve the quality of casting as well as providing signifieant economic
and social beanfits to foundry industry. Advances on design of risering
and gating systems of casting, practical softwares of three analyses etc
home and abroad are reviewed in the paper. In addition, it is pointed
out that computer integrated foundry technology will be the new research
frontier in future.
