Abstract: The hardware and software systems of biaxial tensile test of cruciform specimen are built in order to study the plastic deformation behavior of sheet metal under complex loading paths. The key techniques, such as the displacement synchronous control of the same axial jaws, the proportion and non-proportion loading control for displacement and load, loading stop control based on load variation, and so on , are realized. The experiment shows that the test system has well accurate and reliable and provides the experimental basis for further research.
