EXTRACTION OF FAILURE CHARACTER SIGNAL OF ROLLING ELEMENT BEARINGS BY WAVELET

Abstract: The character of vibration signal caused by failed bearing is analyzed. Based on wavelet packets algorithm without frequency band derangement, a signal character extraction method of rolling element bearing failure measurement is proposed. The character function portrays distribution condition of failure impact precisely. The practical example shows the reliability and the method has a high signal-to-noise ratio.
