Abstract: It is presented that mean error effect is existed in the process of gear integrated error measuring and its essence is curvature interference. It is proofed with experiment that these is local sunken point in the raised tooth profile of involute gear. Resolve condition of mean error effect in the process of gear integrated error measuring is given, and the correlative conclusion is obtained.

Key words: Mean error effect  Curvature interference  Gear integrated error measuring
