Abstract:
According
to the geometric principle of the swinging type camshaft grinding setup,
an interpolating technology of multi-constrained camshaft profile CNC
grinding is proposed. The interpolation algorithm model involving the
cam vector angle θ is developed. Based on foreground and background
control theory, the controlling strategy with the separation of the
interpolation process and real time servo are proposed. Furthermore, the
precision and efficiency of the interpolation algorithm are
experimentally verified. The theoretical references and criteria for
developing swinging type camshaft CNC grinding machine have been
established.
