Abstract: The magnetic fields distribution and loss distribution of welding transformer are analyzed by using of the three-dimensional finite element method. The performance parameters are computed, which are compared with the experience results. It shows that the numerical simulation is an effective method to analyze and design welding transformer. It is the base of optimization design of welding machine.
