Abstract:
The
influence factors of ultra-precision grinding of brittle materials are
investigated theoretically. And the various experiments on the influence
of surface quality are preformed. The experimental investigation on the
grinding of brittle materials is carried out. It is shown that the
surface roughness is mainly related to the average grain size. In the
case of vs=1200m/min, f=0~200μm/r, ap=0.1~10μm, only when the average
grain size of the diamond wheel is less than 20μm, the smooth high
quality surface can be obtained under grinding in the ductile mode.
