Abstract: The radiation mechanism of coupling noise is analysed, which radiates from an active structure. A new method is presented which is used to separate and detect radiation noise onlinearly. In coupling noise field, the tracking comparison and feedback filtering are applied to diagnose initial stage fault of transmission parts in spindle box. As a practical example, the noise radiated from CT6140 spindle box is separated and detected onlinearly. The noise modal is suppressed and restructured. The initial stage fault is diagnosed which exists in transmission parts. The fault model is analysed. So, a new test way starts, in which the noise signal is collected easily from strong coupling noise.
