Abstract: Dynamics of a roller gear cam system is studied, with the clearance taken into account. Applying Kane equation, model of roller ear indexing cam mechanism is built. At the same time, numerical solutions of this model are obtained. It is also proved that mutibody theory can be used to deal with spatial indexing cam including lots of nonlinear factors.
