Abstract:
Experimental study on molybdenum base pseudo-alloy coating and its
friction and wear performance is carried out. Through the analysis of
microstructure of the coating, the result showed that blending the
molybdenum powders, self melting powders and alumina powelers followed
by plasma-spraying the wear-resisting and anti-friction molybdenum base
pseudo-alloy coating could be formed. Phases of it distributed
homogeneously and bonded well, which was a typically strengthened model-Multicelluler
wear-resisting surface between soft phases and hard phases. This
research may contribute to provide bases to develop face functional
coating working under boundary lubrication conditions.
