Abstract:
A new
method based on the fusion of TMM and parameter matching (PM) is
proposed. The total system is decomposed to multiple subsystems. The
transfer matrix is set up for each subsystem. The parameter marching
principle between units is used to form the response calculation
equation of the total system. The new method is used to calculate rotor
unbalance response and is compared with the traditional method. The
improved method is also used to calculate unbalance response sensitivity
to rotor parameters. It is shown that the unbalance response distortion
and data overflow under high rotating speed and high nodes conditions
are avoided. It can be easily used to analyze the multi-rotor or
multi-span rotor-bearing system dynamics with different kinds of
boundary condition. Examples are given.
