Abstract:
An
approach to controlling chaos with linear-quadratic regulator (LQR) is
proposed according to the idea of OGY method, which is based on the
linear analysis and control of the dynamics of the system in a Poincare
section with parameter perturbation. The chaotic vibration of a
rub-impact rotor is controlled to operational periodic one by aped
perturbation calculated from LQR. It is showed by numerical simulation
that the method based on LQR is more efficient than the OGY method.
