Abstract:
The
semi-inverse method, a new approach to develop generalized variational
functional, is improved and first applied to the elastic contact problem
with frictional forces of the coulomb type and finite displacement
successfully and the generalized variational functional is derived. The
difficulty of the friction boundary condition is deal with by a
ingenious method.
