Abstract:
The forces acted on the metal belt, the elastic creep and its influences
on transmission ratio and efficiency of a new magnetic metal belt
transmission are discussed. The change laws of elastic creep ratio of
metal belt with transmission power, transmission ratio, initial tension
and magnetic induction density are revealed, and the numerical
simulation of the creep ratio is carried out. The results show that the
elastic creep ratio of the magnetic metal belt transmission is only form
0.02% to 0.05%, so its transmission performance is improved to some
degree, compared with the general belt transmission The power of
magnetic metal belt transmission is greater, the elastic creep ratio is
less, the transmission efficiency is higher, and the transmission
veracity is better than that of the general belt transmission.
