Abstract:
A new
concept of generalized helix movement is presented. With this concept,
the universal mathematical model for typical cutting edges of ball end
cutters is built up. In accordance with special qualities of some
cutting edges and edge distribution, the concept of transition edge and
its designing method are presented.
