Abstract:
The
electrode is made of pure Ni and coating with lots of graphite, which
filler metal has well wetting quality and liquid inter-dissolution with
WC-Co cemented carbide. The analyses of TEM, EDAX show that the bond is
made up of solid solution of W, Co and spherical graphite in the matrix
of Ni. There are some new brittle phases of Co3W3C, WC1-x formed during
welding metallurgy. Most of them are annexed by spherical graphite and
only a few of those scattered at the sub-boundary of the matrix.
Eventually, the WC-Co cemented carbide has favorable fusion welding of
are welding on study condition.
