Abstract:
The
principle of the fault of over-cutting in CNC manufacturing is
discussed. A physical model of over-cutting which happens between the
tool and the work-piece is presented. On the basis of that, the
mathematic model of the critical point of over-cutting is given.
Simulating experiment is done and wavelet transform is used to identify
the phase of over-cutting, the results show that this mean is very
efficient in on-line monitoring of the fault of over-cutting.
