NEW METHOD OF FAULT SIMULATION AND

EVALUATION OF ARMAMENT EQUIPMENT

Abstract: The significance of simulating with virtual prototyping is summarized. The ADAMS simulation system is introduced, and the characteristics of virtual prototyping are discussed. ADAMS is first to be introduced into armament research fields. Based on analysis of main fault modes of gun, the virtual prototyping model is established by using ADAMS. The user-definited programs are built with Fortran language, and the influencing rules of fault factors on working performance are studied. Finally, the concept of fault evaluation function and the evaluation plan based on virtual prototyping are brought forward. Therefore, a new method of quality evaluation on artillery is presented.
