Abstract: In order to make an integrated and standard definition and
management of distributed product data, the concept of digital product
definition is built on the basis of analyzing the meaning of product
lifecycle digital definition. With the proposition of the
five-dimensional product data model, the digital product information
model, organization model and distributed storage model are defined.
Then the structural distributed product data management system is
developed. Above research provides a systematic and theoretical
instruction for the wide application of distributed product definition
and management.
