SYNTHESIS OF NANOSTRUCTERED ENGINEERING COATING IN NANO-SURFACE-ENGINEERING

Abstract: Material science basis, significance and current state of application and research synthesizing novel nano-structered engineering coating is stated. The composition, processing methods and steps of nanostructured feedstock are introduced. The technological routes, processing condition synthesizing novel nanostructered engineering coating by thermal spray technology, electrodeposition technology, and adhesion technology are summarized. Some new methods, solid state reaction by mechanical milling and liquid state reaction followed by spray drying, of synthesizing nanostructured feedstock are proposed.
