Abstract: With a geometrical model of porous material, a
finite-element analysis on the rolling process of 60Si2Mn in the
semi-solid state is carried out using software MARC. In terms of
thermo-mechanical coupling condition, the semi-solid materials are
regarded as compressible rigid visco-plastic model, then the stress
field, velocity field and temperature field are studied. Furthermore,
the rules of change about stress field and velocity field are
investigated under different deformation condition. The results of
simulation give a better interpretation of the deformation regulation
during the semi-solid 60Si2Mn rolling.
