Abstract: The
scheme of parallel control System for the 4 000 optical fiber of
spherical focal plate for LAMOST (Large sky area multi-object
fiber spectroscope telescope) is introduced. The double
revolving optical fiber positioning unit device is designed.
Then the overall control scheme of the positioning system is
proposed. The movement path of each unit is determined by the
dynamic interfere analysis before each observation, the drive
pulse data of each motor is produced. The control system of
pulse scanning method of multi-stepper motors is based on single
ADSP-2181, so the movement path of the 4 000 unit is controlled
precisely. The experiment result is satisfactory, the optical
fiber can be positioned precisely and quickly with the double
revolving unit.
