IDENTIFICATION METHOD FOR ERRORS OF MACHINING CENTER BASED ON VOLUMETRIC ERROR MODEL

Abstract: T he modeling and identification technologies for errors of machining center are studied, Based on the theory of multi-body system and characteristic modeling method of position and gesture, the general volumetric error model of machining center is established, Based on the volumetric error model, a new displacement technology for the identification of geometric errors of machining center is proposed. Finally, according of the proposed modeling methods, the specific error model of a 3-axis vertical machining center is given, and its error identification results are obtained based on the new displacement method.
