LARGE-SCALE PUMPING STATION

Abstract: The five units of pumping station are monitored and controlled by modern distributed system. The data is transmited through two-wire system network between intelligent apparatus and computer. Approximate 140 real-time parameters of operating mode, common data and main calculated data such as pump effiiciency of 5 units are collected and displayed simultaneously on the spot. The computer can manipulate operating pump mode according rate of flow, pressure, electricity or pump effliciency, The pumps will work in high efficiency range and operational profit will be improved when the system is set up in auto control state.
