Abstract: The wear characteristlcs of high chromium and high speed steel rolls are investigated with the DTW-166 thermal wear testing machine developed by us, The mathematic model of roll wear in practice is analyzed. Improvement on the structure of mathematic model for rolls wear is done on the bases of the practice. The mathematic model of rolls wear is regressed from the data obtained in the experimental conditions. It will be significant to improve quality of strip shape for setup of hot strip rolling.
