Abstract:
Electrostatic spray technology provides a new method to
improve combustion efficiency and decrease emissions for liquid
fuel's spray combustion. Electrostatic atomization principle of
liquid particles is analyzed. A new kind of charging device of
liquid fuel and a device of particle charge to mass ratio are
developed. Experimental research on spray properties of
kerosene is carried on. The electrostatic spray field of
kerosene is firstly investigated by PIV, Experimental results
show that the kerosene' s atomizing quality and the field properties
of spay can be improved and ameliorated by charging.
