Abstract:
A rapid development system for anti-lock braking system is
presented by using real-time hardware-in-the-loop simulation
with aid of the advanced computer technology and simulation
software. Based on an established vehicle rnodel, the control
logic for ABS is investigated. Off-line simulations, real-time
simulations and hardware-in-the-loop simulations arc
respectively carried on to examine and modify the ABS control
algorithm, The ABS controller developed by this rapid
development system is applied to vehicle field test und
promising results are obtained, The proposed approach also can
be applied to develop other vehicle electronic control systems,
such as traction control system, vehicle stability control
system, etc, The feasibility is proved for manufactures to
develop a high Level vehicle electronic control system
quickly with low cost and then to be more competitive in future
market.
