Abstract:An
architecture is presented for integrating case-based reasoning
and rule-based reasoning with totatly new viewpoints, Moreover,
the framewoik of the expert system and an approach to deal with
the Communication of diagnosis information between differenf
diagnosis units, are put fonvard. The architecture is evaluated
within an expert system for diagnosis of automobile sounder
faults.
