Abstract: In the environment of concurrent engineering, for the sake
of reducing the time of design under the restriction of resources, it is
necessary to schedule design activity efficiently. During the design
process, there are so many uncertain factors, which result in the change
of design activities dynamically. In order to optimize the design task
scheduling and make adequate use of resources in concurrent engineering,
firstly the priorities of tasks are computed according to the sequence
of tasks, the difficulty of tasks and the time task needs. Then based on
the priorities and the restriction of resources, a dynamic scheduling
method with the object of the shortest project implementing time is
proposed. During the performance of the method, tasks may be added or
deleted dynamically. An example is given to illustrate the method at
last.
