Abstract: The knowledge structure hierarchy and related processes of
injection mold design and manufacturing are systemically analyzed. Based
on the Internet environment and the idea of CE(Concurrent engineering),
taking AutoCAD as the platform, applying object-oriented technology,
database technology, artificial intelligence and feature generating
technology, injection mold intelligent concurrent design system is
developed . Uniform integrated product information model is established.
The moldability assessment of injection mould product, mould computer
assistant bid, three-dimensional parametric design of mould based on
feature ,the analysis and diagnosis of product defects, knowledge
expression and information feedback sharing of every module are studied.
The key technology of system implementation is discussed. The effective
technical support for realizing network design, intelligent design and
Concurrent design of mould, cutting mould development cycle, improving
mould quality is supplied.
