Abstract: Due to the variety and complexity of data type and the
trend of great capability and popularity of database in fault diagnosis
expert system, the database subsystem of fault diagnose expert system is
designed to manage it’s data by using the method of classification,
hierarchy and layer. What’s more, the data source, the composing of
database, function and design are discussed in detail. Finally, the
database subsystem is practical, universal, expandable and flexible by
using the some model of fault diagnosis expert system and an
illustration.
