Abstract: According to the non-linear motion control characteristic
of parallel machine tools, an approach to realize handwheel function for
the parallel machine tool is presented. On the basis of PC + PMAC
hardware system structure, PLC technique and interruption technique are
combined, and real-time multi-task scheduling strategy is adopted. The
CNC system developed in this way is applied to the parallel machine
tools built successfully, which verifies the validity and practicability
of the method.
