IDENTIFICATION OF LINKAGE CURVES

Abstract: In view of the problems of atlas matching for linkage curves, a new method of transforming the general atlas-matching problem into that of pattern recognition is proposed. The concept of evolutionary pattern is introduced, the mode of evolutionary identification is expounded, which is followed by the general description, and the conversion relations as well as the correspondence rules of parameters in different spaces are discussed. Finally, an evolutionary approach to the identification of linkage curves is proposed. Based on the feature extraction of linkage curves, the evolutionary factors are operated by genetic algorithm, the relevant information of linkage curve is searched in the atlas base according to the results, and then the structure parameters of the linkage mechanism corresponding to this curve can be obtained. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by a practical instance, which provides a new approach to the identification of linkage curves.
