Abstract: A Stewart platform based test platform is designed for fine
tunning of the feed of a large radio telescope. The kinematics accuracy
concerned with joint position error and driving leg error of the test
platform is analyzed. The mathematic model for solving the posture error
of the platform is also established. The simulation results show that
the designed mechanism can satisfy the kinematics accuracy requirement
of the test platform.
