Abstract: A novel control algorithm mainly composed of torque
management strategy and coordinating control algorithm, of parallel
hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) is put forward. A feed-forward system
model of PHEV is constructed on the modeling platform of Matlab/Simulink
and Matlab/Stateflow. Consequently, the control algorithm of PHEV is
manifested to meet the demands of both optimized system efficiency and
smooth power transfer by the real-time simulation function of dSPACE
system.
