Abstract: It summarizes the achievements made by the CHINESE JOURNAL
OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING in its 50-year history since 1953 by facts.
CJME has not only followed the development of mechanical engineering
technology, but also made a great contribute to it. CJME’s development
and contribution to the society have exceeded the journal itself.
