Abstract: How to make large-scale prototype is one of the hotspots of
the development of rapid prototyping (RP) technology. Long time
consumption is one of the difficulties. Laminated object manufacturing (LOM)
has particular advantage in forming large-scale prototype. A new
method—dynamic divisional parallel scanning system aimed to LOM is put
forward. Analysis and test achievement show that by this method the
forming efficiency can be improved remarkably.
