Abstract: Photograph-based solid modeling method is to reconstruct 3D
model through the object’s photography and image processing. This method
is originate from computer vision and is fast and convenience. The basic
theory and method of photograph-based solid modeling method is
discussed, and the research work at home and abroad of this method is
also given. Finally the future development of this method is given.
