Abstract: the principle of field-coordinated enhancement of heat
convection is presented that the better coordination between the
velocity and temperature fields will lead a higher convective heat
transfer coefficient, and the better coordination between the
temperature fields of hot and cold fluids will lead a greater
effectiveness of heat exchangers. Furthermore, applications of the
principle of field-coordinated enhancement on upgrading the performance
of heat exchanger are discussed.
